Managing Director, Warwick State, Kothagiri Mr. Jayaraman has field acquaintance of 35 years in tea cultivation and 8 years in floriculture. His family grows flowers substantial area (11.39 ha) under protected cultivation achieving highest productivity in the South India. He is cultivating commercial flowers, e.g. Dendrobium orchid 84,000 sq. m., Liliums 23,000 sq.m., Carnation 3,700 sq.m., Chrysanthemum 3,200 sq.m. He is growing tea in 1,000 acres having rain forest alliance certified along with a tea factory of capacity 2.5 million kg Orthodox Black tea. His 85% of production is exported and 15% goes for the domestic market. He provide direct employment to over 700 people. Outsourcing of raw material from 2,500 acres predominantly owned by small tea growers gives indirect employment to over 5,000 people.
