Dr V.S. Korikanthimath

Former Director, ICAR Research Complex for Goa (Indian Council of Agricultural Research), Goa

Dr Korikanthmath has developed several agro-techniques for plantation and spice crops species based cropping/farming systems, which have been widely accepted and adopted by the spice growers. His contribution to “Development of High Production Technology on Cardamom and Implementation of the same in the Farmers Fields” is well recognized. He is the recipient of Hari Om Ashram Trust Award and Jawaharlal Nehru Award of the ICAR. He has published over 320 research articles in reputed journals/books/chapters/proceedings of symposia, of which more than 110 research papers are in referred journals. Dr Korikanthimath is the President of the Indian Society for Spices, Calicut.
